Celebrating excellence: OryxAlign’s 2025 staff awards & future vision

On Friday 28th March 2025, OryxAlign came together once again to celebrate the people who make our company thrive.

An impressive 90 employees attended from our London and Manchester offices, including colleagues from overseas locations Manila, South Africa and Lithuania. This year's employee and team awards marked not only a moment of recognition and gratitude but also the launch of our new three-year strategic plan, presented by CEO and founder Carl Henriksen.

Now in its 19th year, OryxAlign continues to grow, and with growth comes reflection and direction. Carl’s vision for the next three years lays a strong foundation for sustainable development, innovation, and an ever-deepening commitment to our people and clients. The event was a perfect opportunity to bring teams together and take pride in both where we are and where we’re headed.

The annual employee awards have become a much-loved tradition at OryxAlign. Introduced to shine a light on individual and team achievements, these awards are completely employee-led, ensuring that every recognition is heartfelt and democratic.

With categories including engineers of the year, living the values, operational excellence and team of the year to name a few, it’s a celebration that truly reflects our values – caring, supporting, striving, trusting and enjoying.

This year, we were proud to present:

  • Employee of the Year awarded to Megan Stiles
  • Team Player of the Year awarded to Steven Ellis
  • Rising Star Awards awarded to both William Bergman and Joe Harris
  • A special award from Carl - CEO’s Excellence Award went to Mark Waldmeyer.

These awards celebrate not just excellence in delivery but also the values and behaviours that make OryxAlign such a unique and rewarding place to work.
