Welcome Alistair Fawcett, OryxAlign’s new Chief Operating Officer

We are excited to announce that Alistair Fawcett has joined OryxAlign as our new Chief Operating Officer.

In addition to his role as a COO, Alistair will also be joining the company’s Executive Board. In this newly created position, he will not only lead and drive the daily operational drumbeat of the business through our three principal business units (Managed Services, Professional Services and Solutions), he will also play a key role in shaping the long-term vision for the Company.

Alistair joins OryxAlign following a highly successful and accomplished career in the Armed Forces, where he has specialised in developing, deploying and protecting a wide array of world-class strategic, operational and tactical networks and information systems. His experience in managing defensive cyber security and resilience requirements is especially pertinent in the current cyber-threat climate.

More recently, he contributed to enabling the Ministry of Defence’s modernisation agenda, through capability development in support of digital transformation. This unique experience will be most useful to all our clients, many of whom are seeking to modernise their IT infrastructure to deliver the substantial benefits that flow from digital transformation.

Alistair explains that he was drawn to OryxAlign’s values, culture, approach and vision. “While the environment and context are different, there is a degree of familiarity between my appointments in the Armed Forces and my role at OryxAlign. I’ve spent my career focused on achieving a range of mission sets, overcoming challenges and developing capabilities using both technology and strong, dedicated teams – not too dissimilar from that of a COO. Well crafted and developed building-blocks are there for OryxAlign to realise its vision and I’m looking forward to playing a role in helping the team realise it.”

Carl Henriksen, Founder & CEO, commented; “Alistair’s appointment marks the beginning of a new and exciting chapter in OryxAlign’s journey and reflects our commitment towards investing in strategic talent to drive our ambitious growth plans. Alistair has demonstrated a strong affinity with our vision and values, and will be an excellent addition to our wonderful team. He brings with him a wealth of transferable experience, fresh ideas and a new perspective on operational effectiveness, all of which will help us to continue to build on our success. I’m delighted with his appointment.”
